Station Projects

Project scope includes construction of new 3rd, 4th and 5th floors between the west wings of building 1W, immediately above the existing SCIP II building, along with a therapeutic garden to be located at grade, west of the SCIP II building. Third floor design includes Chapel and Multi- Denominational/Multi-Purpose area and associated support spaces, Social Work offices, Healthy Teaching Kitchen, Conference and Break Room. In addition to the new floor plate described above, there will be approximately 1,250 SF of existing space to be remodeled to support new construction. Fourth floor design includes mechanical and utility support interstitial space to back feed SCIP II project and new third thru fifth floors as well as 800+/- s.f. of program space for an electrical shop area. There will be some work within the existing floor plate to extend existing mechanical equipment plenums to the new outside wall. Fifth floor design includes nine medical/surgical patient rooms with private restrooms, nurse’s stations, support spaces to include equipment storage, clean linen, clean utility, soiled utility, med room and nutrition area. One patient room shall be designed as negative pressure room with ante-room access. Staff support spaces include locker rooms, toilet and break room facilities. Lounge and vending areas for patient family and visitors. Open office space for pharmacy staff is also to be provided.
